Naqdi ("we", "us", "the app") is an invoicing and expense-tracking app for Saudi freelancers. This policy explains what data we handle and what we don't.
1. What Naqdi stores on your device
Everything you create in Naqdi stays on your device by default. This includes:
- Your business profile (name, phone, address, VAT number, IBAN)
- Clients you add
- Invoices you create and their line items
- Expenses and receipt photos
- Your signature (if you draw one for invoices)
- Your business logo
This data is stored locally using Apple's SwiftData framework. It isn't uploaded to any server we control.
2. What leaves your device
- Apple: When you subscribe, Apple processes the payment. We don't see your card details. Apple shares subscription status with the app so we know you're a premium user.
- Firebase (Google): Naqdi uses Firebase for:
- Crashlytics: If the app crashes, an anonymous crash report is sent to Firebase so we can fix bugs. Includes device model, iOS version, and the stack trace. No business data.
- Remote Config: The app fetches configuration values (minimum supported version, App Store URL) from Firebase. This is a one-way pull — nothing about you is sent.
3. What we never collect
- Email addresses or passwords — Naqdi has no accounts.
- Your location.
- Your contact list.
- Photos other than what you explicitly attach to an invoice or expense.
4. Invoice QR code
Invoices you generate include a QR code with seller information, tax-registration number, total, and timestamp. The QR code is generated locally on your device and is never transmitted to any external authority — it's simply a machine-readable summary of the invoice. You remain responsible for verifying that your invoices meet any requirements that apply to your business.
5. Your rights
- You can view, edit, and delete all your data inside the app at any time.
- Deleting the app removes all local data permanently.
- For privacy questions or crash-report deletion requests, email us at: NaqdiAppFeedback@gmail.com
6. Changes
We'll update this policy if Naqdi starts handling data differently. The "Last updated" date above will change.
